Old Geezer

Well, this is what you get!  I wasn't good enough to be a musician, so I turned to science.  My main area of interest is Comparative Physiology.  I explain that as "what makes critters tick, and why they live where they live and not somewhere else".  Obviously water balance and quality is involved here. 

I have written several papers on relationships between parasites and their hosts.  I completed a five-year study on the chemistry of a fresh water reservoir.  I am also interested in music, nutrition, books, and postage stamps.

I hope you find something of interest here.  Or, at least, be amused.  Remember:  Strange is truer than fiction!
